I’ve read several of Ann’s books & they are always the perfect feel good, cute books I need to escape the hustle & bustle of the world! This is a short read which I love this time of year when I have so much going on!

The story is about Brooks & Lila— they’ve known each other pretty much Lila’s whole life. She’s always had a crush on him since Brooks is her brothers best friend so they were always around each other. Brooks is 8 years older so I love an age gap (same age gap as me & my husband). Brooks is back in their hometown to visit his grandma & ends up staying because of a spur of the moment wedding that Lila is planning. You’ll have to read to see if Lila’s crush comes to real feelings & actions or if Brooks can’t handle being in a serious relationship when all he’s ever wanted was to be successful!

There is lots of cutie scenarios in this one, funny happenings & some good spicy scenes! I love going into the worlds that Ann creates & definitely think this was a good one for the holidays!

The book also leads up to Fallon’s story, which she is another character in the Stafford brothers books and I’m so excited for that! Make sure to check out Ann on socials & as always I’m so thankful for the ARC opportunity!
