This is the 2nd book in the series & it is my first series I’ve read by Lauren Blakely!

I was so excited for Max & Everly’s book after reading the first one! Grumpy Max with the perfect Enemies to Lovers with Everly! The tension of them both just fighting what everyone can see is always makes me can’t stop putting down a book!

Everly is in PR for the hockey team Max is on & well Max wants nothing to do with PR. They both have pasts that have a lot that form them into the people they are in this book & it’s wonderful to see those layers of them shed with each other but also with other people.

Max is next level book boyfriend! I have a crush on him! I loved their relationship so much and watching it develop! There was so many times I was LOLing at the shenanigans that were going on trying to change his image & how he intercepted multiple guys with Everly 🙂

If you love enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine, spicy, he falls first, hockey romance, banter, & great friend groups this book is for you!

I cannot even wait for the next book in this series! 5 stars.
