Scottsdale

Craig & I got away for a few days & went to Scottsdale with a couple friends. It was so nice to get away with Craig since our 1 on 1 time is limited these days in our season life with busy schedules. There was a lot of unexpected rain & flooding which was kind of a bummer BUT that’s okay! We went to a lot of great restaurants, coffee shops, shopping & hiking!

Where we hiked— Lost Dog Trail — we were going to do another hike but rain & flooding disrupted that.

Where we had coffee—

1. Little Snitch— I had the cookie butter cold brew & açaí bowl. Literally the cutest place & the girlies would love it!

2. Bright Side Cafe— Another cookie butter coffee but they have a laser machine where you can make a certain design on your foam on top, so cute!

3. Light Heart Coffee— I had the pumpkin coffee where there was dark chocolate syrup in it, so good & the cutest spot!

Where we had dinner—

1. Barrio Queen— which was great Mexican — I got a combo which was good but the table side guacamole & Paloma was what stole the show for me!

2. Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers— if you want a great sports bar— really great burgers & nachos.

3. Buck & Rider— was an amazing dinner spot— probably the best steak I’ve had in a long time!

4. Pizzeria Bianco— was a great pizza stop we stopped for lunch & I loved it— not a heavy pizza which was nice!

5. Sol Cocina— was where we ended our last dinner out & it was delicious! I got a the shrimp quesadilla & it was excellent! Frosè was also awesome!

Where we shopped—

1. Scottsdale Fashion Square— pretty much the mall of malls. So many shops — high end to everything in between!

2. Scottsdale Quarter—Outside shopping area & is beautiful! So many shops & resturants!

3. Old Town— I would say more tourist shops & bars but fun to walk around & check things out!

We also stopped at The First Draft Books & Bar where there is a bar in the bookstore & I thought that was SO fun so if you are a book lover this is such a fun thing to do!

All in all it was a nice little getaway so if you are visiting anytime soon maybe check out one of the places above! I also added some pictures of the days or places we visited!
