Yesterday, July 24th, marks 2 years of the website & newsletter! I seriously am so glad I made the move to do this for my “brand”. I honestly think it has helped in so many ways! It’s gotten my audience to know me more, helped me interact with people, showed more in depth of the things that are going on in my life & to be able to share more!
I feel like so many things have happened in those 2 years! I had a newspaper article written about me featuring my spot on the internet, I went on live tv over a dozen times, multiple paid campaigns on my IG, thousands of new followers, multiple viral reels, & so much more.
I honestly only wanted this space to be a landing page for all my work & have it be MINE if things went away on my IG. It has done such wonderful things for that! I’ve been able to post all of that plus so much more. I’ve turned the website into a spot for book reviews as well— I absolutely love books & reviewing them that I am so glad I have a spot on here to be able to do that. I’m sure the authors appreciate it & it could be a reason I get so many advanced readers copies which is such a blessing!
All in all I wanted to share this because.. if you have any doubts about starting a space like this or something to help further your brand.. I can’t say enough that you SHOULD! Make the investment in yourself! I promise it will help even if you don’t see it right away!
