We are entering Ann’s cowboy era & I’m not mad about it at all. I love a cowboy romance book & she does such a good job with this one.

Jensen grew up with not great parents in Montana & he couldn’t wait to get out of there & make a name for himself! He does just that in NYC until he finds out he is a dad. Jensen has no clue what it takes to be a father but he is willing to do anything for Caleb. Jensen & Caleb head back to his hometown in Montana for the summer to help them both navigate this new life they are adjusting to!

Jensen became apart of his best friends family when he was younger because of his bad home life & they always considered him apart of the family.. enter Briar. Jensen’s best friends kid sister. She’s older now & beautiful. Jensen can’t deny the pull he has towards her but they both have childhood trauma especially Briar… Can they overcome it all especially if Jensen leaves to go back to NYC after their summer in Montana?!

I thought Ann did a wonderful job navigating this book & its ups and downs. I loved Jensen & Caleb and that relationship because how hard would that have been?! I can’t imagine. Love when there is a good family dynamic, banter, etc & she always does such a good job with that! Briar & her girlfriends texts were so fun & I can’t wait til their stories—- I know they are coming!

Read this book if you like cowboy romance, brothers best friend, single dad, age gap, small town, no third act breakup, epic girl gang.
