So this was the first ever series I read of Kandi’s and I just love this hockey series! So this series just always holds a special place in my heart! This book follows Aleks — bad boy hockey player who hasn’t been on this team for awhile & his reputation definitely shows but I love that in his book we get to know Aleks and his background to why he is the way he is.

His childhood friend Mia is a worldwide pop star & has all the baggage that comes with that. It’s hard for her to be the girl she is instead of just the pop star but Aleks has always known the real her & has loved her all these years vice versa.

SO much build up, fake dating, pining, angst, and so on. SO many times I wanted to shake them for not communicating to each other! I wish they would of just let it all out but honestly understand because they didnt want to ruin their friendship.

I loved seeing the flashbacks when they were teens or what made their relationship what it was in present day. I loved still seeing the other characters from previous books & the hockey theme still. I cannot wait for the next book in this series!
