If you’re new here this is where I give my small review of the books I read each month. I have a pretty big goal this year & I’m already behind but have made progress since last month! So I’ll be hopefully catching up more this next month! I rate books 1-5 stars. 5 being the top.
Lets get into it..
1. The Women by Kristin Hannah — SO many people told me to read this & I finally did it. God Bless Kristin Hannah. What an amazing roller coaster of a book. It’s been over a week & I’m still thinking about it! The history, the women, the romance, the music, the heartbreak, EVERYTHING. This book was everything & I’ll forever think about it. READ IT. Infinity Stars!
2. Phantom by H.D. Carlton — I enjoyed this! I love that she gave us Gigi’s story since we heard so much about it in the cat & mouse duet! If you like her style of writing you will like this one— it’s not as dark as Zade & Addie’s story but it’s there! I wanted more at the end! 3.5 stars.
3. The Charlie Method by Elle Kennedy — I got an ARC for this one! My first ever Elle ARC! So awesome! Here’s a full blog post about it! https://daniellepaschka.com/2025/02/18/the-charlie-method-arc-review/
4. Bourbon & Secrets by Victoria Wilder —Book 2 of the series & man it’s probably my new fave! Lincoln is a dreeeeeam. I love a single dad romance & this delivers! I love the suspense also of this book & everything that happens with the family in this book. Victoria Wilder is becoming a must read author for me & I can’t wait for book 3! 5 stars!
5. That One Night by Meghan Quinn — A short story by Meghan & you know I’ll take any & everything she puts out for us! I started this one because I wanted something short & sweet for my walk when it was so nice out & this did the trick! It’s a lead up to her book The Reunion so I’m reading that now & in true Meghan fashion I am LOLing! If you need something funny, cute & quick then for sure read this one! 4 stars!
6. Scythe & Sparrow by Brynne Weaver — This is the 3rd book in the series — & dare I say this is my favorite?! I literally can’t handle this entire series! I have loved Brynne Weaver world so much. Funny, creepy, spicy, suspenseful, SO SWEET, just all the things. I’m so sad it’s done… maybe for now ?! She does elude to maybe more in the epilogue but I’m never one to assume! I loved Rose & Fionn so much. Rose was freaking crazy but in the best way. They were so hilarious together & I loved how smitten kitten Fionn was for her! Fionn’s letters to her— I cannot. ALL THE FEELS. Read this series! 5 stars!
7. The Fall Risk by Abby Jimenez — If Abby puts it out— I’m going to read it! I love these valentines themed short stories she has put out last year and this year! This one made me LOL a lot. The friends in this one were hilarious & I loved the dynamic of them all. I wish this would have been a full on book— would have been so good! 4 stars.
Ready for more books in March— hopefully we get double digit books read! Fingers crossed!
