Since it’s LOVE month I thought I’d share some of my favorite romance books that I still think about to this day! Not only because of the spice but because of the romance — if it was gut wrenching, swoon worthy, or all the things.. I just always love these books for so many reasons & when you think about the book after you are done reading it I truly think that speaks volumes. These were all 5 star reads for me as well..
Birthday Girl by Penelope Douglas— It’’s been over 2 years since I’ve read this book & I can’t stop honestly say that I still think about it. It might be “taboo” for some but it seriously is one of the best age gap romances I’ve read. The buildup, the things he does for her vice versa, the tension, & the secret tattoo.. I just cannot. I love it so much & it’ll be my favorite forever.

Untying the Knot by Meghan Quinn— This isn’t a typical romance book & I think that’s why I love it so much. It’s raw, real, all the things. It broke my heart but put it back together. The way I sobbed in this book.. I’ll never be the same. I want more books to be like this especially if you are married. It’s just such a good raw romance!

The Graham Effect by Elle Kennedy— I’m a huge fan of Elle Kennedy and honestly so many of her books are my favorites but this book just was next level so good. So many things in it were my favorites. Hookup buddies to lovers. The banter, the falling in love, everything was just so good. Still one of my all time faves.

The Way I Hate Him by Meghan Quinn— Another Meghan book but no one should be surprised. This was a great enemies to lovers, brothers ex best friend, childhood crush book.. There was so much tension, times I wanted to slap the MMC but the love the characters had for each other was everything! There is a scene in the book that will live rent free in my head forever!

The Things We Leave Unfinished by Rebecca Yarros— This is told in alternating timelines. I love Rebecca Yarros and her nods into army, navy, anything armed forces. This book had me sobbing. It wasn’t so much the romance but the love between people. It was gut wrenching. I will never be the same after reading it & it made me a Rebecca fan for life.

Crossroads by Devney Perry— Gosh I loved this one. It was back and forth time lines. A romance that they didn’t think could work past the weeks they had together. Growing up together & finally coming back together after unfortunate circumstances. Their romance was one of my favorites & I love Devney’s writing style.

The Seven Year Slip by Ashley Poston— I think this was definitely not a book I was expecting to fall in love with but I did. It was so unique & different. I’ll never get over the MMC’s nickname for the MFC. The stories and romance was so genuine. So beautifully written & not like any other book I’ve read!

Hook, Line & Sinker by Tessa Bailey— This book made me a Tessa fan for life. Friends to lovers. I loved the text messages at the beginning of the book. I loved all the tension & crushes. I freaking loved FOX. The fact that he got Hannah a record player & Rumours album was just about everything to me. Craig did the same for me so he is my Fox. I still think about this book from time to time & it’s definitely one of my favorite friends to lovers!

The Ex Vows by Jessica Joyce— The details of this book, the heart wrenching moments, the flirting, the friend group & the flashbacks— loved it all. Another great friends to lovers & second chance romance. I just loved it all. Eli & the paper rings. SWOON. Give me all the romance!

That’s just a short list of books I absolutely love & think they are PERFECT to add to your February TBR. I just forever can’t get over romance & all the swoony feelings I get from these books. I just love them all so much & I hope you do too!
