It was so fun to be back in Lauren Blakely hockey land! I’ve read the first 2 of this series & I loved it. I love just like any series we get to see the friends from the previous books & catch up with them. They are very much apart of this book so they are in here a lot.

This book focuses on Maeve & Asher. Asher is a Sea Dogs hockey player & Maeve is an artist trying to make a name for herself & thrive in the artist world! Maeve & Asher are best friends along with Asher being best friends with Maeve’s brother Beckett.

Maeve & Asher have always been “just friends” but their friend group would have other things to say about that & honestly I think they are just covering up their feelings which a lot of friends to lovers books go!

Can Maeve & Asher overcome their demons of their past relationships & traumas or do they let that get in the way of what they truly want in the long run??

This book is sweet, swoony, & spicy. Lots of “my wife”, surprise gift giving to make the other happy (so many cute things), hockey talk, & the best girl group of besties! I recommend this series & definitely think you need to add to your TBR!
