Chocolate Spider Web Cookies

These marshmallow webs are always a hit this time of year!

These black cocoa cookies smell and taste so good! The rich black cocoa chocolate is so good! I also love how the white marshmallow looks on the dark cookies!

Here is the recipe—

1/2 cup soft butter, 1 1/4 cup light brown sugar, 1 egg, 3 tsp vanilla paste, 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour, 1/2 cup black cocoa, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp instant coffee. 1 cup mini marshmallows for the webs.

Mix together all the wet ingredients then mix in all the dry ingredients to form a dough. Scoop dough onto a nonstick pan. Bake at 350 for 11-13 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.

Once the cookies are cooled— microwave the mini marshmallows for 15 seconds at a time. They are very finicky and you don’t want them too over melted!

The marshmallows will get messy on your fingers but I think it is worth it with how they look on the cookies! Either add candy eye ball sprinkles or a spider!

Enjoy!
