Eeek! I always love Ann’s books! I love how romantic & I know just what I’m going to get when I read one of her books!

Dawson is a lawyer by day & a tattoo artist by night but his reasoning behind it is one of the best things ever & made me love him more. He is a grump but knows what he wants when he sees it — I loved getting to know him after hearing about him in Ann’s other books. His backstory broke my heart & I don’t know how you couldn’t love him after getting to know him to be honest.

Reese is a hard worker, runs herself very thin & says yes to just about anyone she loves. An aspiring lawyer & needing $$ to help assist her grandma in living arrangements + so much more! You felt her struggles in the book & it made me always rooting for her!

Dawson might be my fave MMC that she has had in her books so far! He was seriously swoooooony! I also loved Reese— her entire back story & struggles pulled at my heart & I honestly loved how Dawson was with her.

The spice was spicin & you know I’m always here for that!

If you want a swoony, spicy, super sweet, short, no third act breakup—Ann is always the winner for you! Ready for the next book early next year! 4 stars .
