Another month and more books! I got 8 done this month.. I wanted 10 but LIFE. I have high, high hopes for August! I have a trip away & I read 3 books on that trip last year so I’m hoping that will be the case again this time! I am 4 books behind according to my GoodReads for my end of the year goal so hopefully my booty can kick it into gear!

Alright.. let’s get into it! I rate the books 1 – 5 stars. 1 star being the lowest & 5 stars being the best. You can always keep up to date on my GoodReads or my Instagram!

1. Crossroads (Haven River Ranch #1) by Devney Perry– Devney does small-town & cowboy romances so good. I loved the start of this new series by her. I got sucked in from the get go. I loved the back and forth over the years to get the different stories & pov’s. West & Indy made me swoon & I loved what Indy did for West in the end.. my heart! I can’t wait for the 2nd book soon! 5 stars.

4. Untying the Knot by Meghan Quinn– YOU GUYS. You know that I’m a big Meghan Quinn can do no wrong kind of gal but HOLY SMOKES. THIS BOOK. I almost think it might be my favorite to date of hers?! It’s been sitting in my kindle library for years and I’m honestly mad at myself for waiting that long to read it. If you read the Cane Brothers series.. this is a must read. We hear about Ryot (the main male character) in this book in that series so it was nice to read his story.. This was such a realistic romance book.. I feel like what happened in this book probably happens a lot with couples today & why divorce rates are so high. I loved the back and forth between the first time Ryot & Myla met to present day. I loved seeing them fall in love.. they honestly were perfect for each other. I loved the friend group & getting to know Ryot’s brother Banner (which I’ve heard of him from other books in the Meghanverse) — Meghan says that his book will be coming…. Eventually I had tears FLOWING during a certain part in the book & it broke my heart but luckily it got put back together. If I haven’t convinced you to read a Meghan book at this point.. I’m not screaming enough at how good her stuff is! Funny, spicy, sweet, gut wrenching at some parts & just 10/10. INFINITY Stars.
5. The Fiancé Dilemma (The Long Game #2) by Elena Armas— This was such a fun read! I Lol’d at some parts & it was just what every good feel good romance book needs! This is book 2 in a series but I don’t honestly think you need to read book 1 because Elena gives good info in this book about the previous main characters in book 1 (which these 2 main characters in this book are in book 1 too). Josie (FMC) is hilarious & all over the place. She is such a fun character & will do anything for anyone. Matthew (MMC) is quite possibly one of the best book boyfriends I’ve ever met. He was seriously THE SWEETEST & smitten kitten with Josie. Watching their relationship grow was so fun & swoon worthy! This gives Runaway Bride vibes and I lived for it. The small town vibes also with all the different characters added so much fun to all the drama that was going on! 4 Stars.

6, 7, 8 — I am reading the Calamity Mountain series from Devney Perry right now & there is 6 books. I am finishing the 5th one today then when I am done with the 6th I am going to review them all since they are all intermingled & characters are in them all.
