Hi friends!

I feel I needed to do one of these since it’s been months since I did a newsletter & I can actually breathe this week after the last couple! May has been so dang busy!

Mostly what I’ve been sharing on my blog is book reviews which isn’t terrible but I need to add some variety for sure! April flew by as well— we celebrated Craig & Stella’s birthday. Stella had a birthday party with friends at the skating rink & a trip to a few stores to grab some things for her to update her room for more of a big girl vibe bedroom! My 2 good girlfriends & I went to the Zach Bryan concert at the end of April & it was so amazing! Nothing truly beats live music!

I’ve been very busy with cake orders for friends & family! I am so thankful I can do something I love so much & share peoples special moments with them as a job! I will never get over it! I wrapped up working at the bakery during the week for the summer since the girls will be out of school soon! I will always be so thankful that I get to take summers off with them & enjoy these times since the years just fly by— I still am working from home which is always something but for sure helps not having to go to the bakery where all my other jobs & tasks get put on hold!

Stella has only a few softball games left for spring season— she’s done so good & grown so much this season! So proud of her! Aria is thriving in dance— her 5th recital is in a few weeks & I can’t wait to watch her shine on stage!

We had the annual Derby party with the neighbors, I popped in and out one week at the girls school one week with teacher appreciation week meals, I did my 8th Dri-Tri (my 2nd strength version & PR’d), volunteered at Stella’s Zoo field trip, Stella got her ears pierced, cousins visited, & much more.

If you follow me on IG you know that I am in the thick of #oneadayinmay & it’s been so fun! What that is.. I’m sharing a cake or a dessert or anything baking/cake decorating related everyday in May. I did it for the first time last year & I loved the engagement I got on it so I had to do it again! There are so many creators doing it & it’s truly amazing to see everyone’s fun ideas & creativity!

I’m booked on Hello Iowa into July & am just so grateful for this fun opportunity! I literally feel so thankful they ask me back for various things. It’s so fun to chat & create with Megan! I’m going back on, on Thursday to talk about summer books & summer reading!

I feel that is about it.. other than lots of reading still 🙂 August will be 2 official years in my reading challenge! I’m so much more obsessed than I was then! I can’t get enough ever! So many books, so little time!
