I am now ready to get my physical health back in check since surgery, the holidays & doing an in body scan at the gym & seeing how I’ve definitely fallen off the wagon. I know, I know… I need to give myself grace with things but gosh it’s hard after I spent years kicking a$$ trying to lose the weight & get in a better spot with my health!
The main thing that I always am trying to do is meal prep & have healthy options ready to go! Especially being on the go, I need all the good & healthy options. I always make sure I have meat cooked for dinner or lunch & also have veggies cut & ready!
I am always good with making my breakfast in the morning but I’ve always wanted to try overnight oats! So I made these cookie dough overnight oats and gosh they are now going to be something on repeat for breakfast!
Here’s the recipe-
2 cups oat milk (or whatever milk you like), 2 cups rolled oats, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, 3 tbsp pure maple syrup, 2 tbsp peanut butter ( or whatever nut butter you like), 3 tbsp lilys dark chocolate chips, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 2 tbsp carrington farms chia flax mix. Stir all together & divide into 2 8oz jars. Refrigerate overnight & mix with a spoon before diving in!
SO GOOD. Kept me full & I look forward to them every morning! Do you have any overnight oat flavors you like?! Comment below!
Xo,
Dani
