Hey friends!

I am still shocked that last week was the last week of summer for us! The girls have back to school night tonight & then start 2nd & 4th grade on Wednesday! Help it make sense! I swear this summer FLEW by! We had so many things going on so I’m sure that was a contributing factor to why it felt so fast!

2 weeks ago I went to Palm Springs to visit my grandma so when I got back I really wanted to make last week fun for the girls since I had been gone & it was our last full week of summer! We went to a farm that had baby goats we got to cuddle, we got ice cream, we went to one of our favorite shops that released their new fall line, we went to our state fair for an evening, Stella started fall softball, did some BTS shopping, & enjoyed the slower mornings.

This past weekend Craig & I went to Kansas City to hang with friends + see Stevie Nicks & Billy Joel preform. Seeing Stevie Nicks was definitely a bucket list item for me. I am a HUGE Fleetwood Mac fan & it’s only gotten more intense after reading several books that reference them. I just love the music & everything behind the music so much. I was SO emotional during her whole set — all the tears & all the feels. It was 105 degrees when we were walking into the stadium but luckily there was a breeze that saved us. When she came on to preform I didn’t even think about anything else— I loved it all so much.

We got home yesterday morning so now I’m trying to play catchup and get ready for the week ahead! Lots to do! It’s going to be a hot one this week too so trying to not melt & hopefully we will get a relief soon. This is the point of the summer where I am hoping fall comes sooner than later!
