Well, I never thought I’d be one to go to an Indy car race but I also never thought I’d go to one and actually enjoy it! I can see why people like going & it’s definitely something you should see once in your life IN person.
I went Saturday with friends & saw Carrie Underwood + Kenny Chesney! Both were great. It was so hot but luckily where we were there was an air conditioning building we could go in and out of which was very nice + shade after the sun moved in the later afternoon. The music, the people watching, & food + drinks were so great! A Saturday well spent!
On Sunday I took the girls to Ed Sheeran (their first concert) out at the track & it was such a hit! I loved watching them sing a long & dance to the songs they love on the radio! Such a good memory maker!
A lot of people know but some don’t — my husband works for Hy-Vee ( who put on this event weekend) & I can’t even tell you how much time & planning goes into this weekend! All the big & little details did not go unnoticed! I can’t even express how proud I am to be apart of the Hy-Vee family!
